Saturday's Preview: The No. 18-ranked Ohio Northern women's track & field team will travel to Allendale, Mich. to compete in the Mike Lints Alumni Open ... The invitational is set to begin at 1 pm with the women's weight throw and women's 60-meter hurdles ... Junior Emily Richards garnered Ohio Athletic Conference Women's Indoor Track & Field Athlete of the Week after her performance at the season-opening OAC North Split Meet ... Richards shattered the 1,000-meter run record and won the event in 2:52.42, which broke the previous ONU school record and ONU Sports Center facility record ... Seniors Allie Gast and Kelsey Commager also earned first place finishes as Gast won the 60-meter hurdles and Commager finished first in both the long jump and triple jump ... Sophomore Maddy Reed took first place in the pole vault to lead Northern.
