Women's Track & Field lands nine All-Great Lake Region honorees

ADA — Women's track and field landed nine All-Great Lake Region honorees announced by the USTFCCCA Monday afternoon.
Senior Sarah Ballmer, junior Kelsey Commager, junior Meagan Ellinger, junior Allie Gast, senior Michelle Mosler, junior Kendra Paul, freshman Maddy Reed, sophomore Emily Richards, and senior Kristine Wagner all received the honor.
Ballmer receives All-Region honors in the pole vault after clearing a season best height of 11 feet 11.75 inches.
The senior earns her first All-Region honor of the season.
Commager claims her second All-Region honor of the season after being named All-Great Lake Region during the indoor season.
She receives the honor in the triple jump after setting the school record with a leap of 38 feet .25 inches.
Ellinger claimed All-Region honors as a member of the 4x400-meter relay that also broke a school record with a time of 3:55.69.
The junior claims her first All-Region honor of the season.
Gast claims her second All-Region honor for the 2015-16 season.
The junior earns the honor in the 100-meter hurdles after posting an NCAA qualifying time of 14.42.
Mosler was also a member of the record breaking 4x400-meter relay.
The senior garners her first All-Region honor for the season.
Paul led the Polar Bears in the javelin throw with a season best toss of 130 feet 7 inches.
She also claims her first All-Region honor for the 2015-16 season.
Reed garners her first All-Region accolade in the pole vault.
The freshman punched her ticket to the NCAA Division III Championships with a height of 12 feet 6 inches.
Richards earns All-Region honors in the 400-meter run, 800-meter run, 1,500-meter run, and the 4x400-meter relay.
The sophomore set school records in the 800-meter run (2:02.54), 400-meter run (55.14) and the 4x400-meter relay.
Wagner claims her first All-Region honor of the season in the heptathlon and the 4x400-meter relay.
The senior led the Polar Bears in the heptathlon posting a school record breaking 4,399 points.
The Polar Bears will conclude their season this week at the NCAA Division III Championships.
