Senior Michelle Mosler leads Women's Track and Field to first place finish at the Muskie Duals

NEW CONCORD — Senior Michelle Mosler claimed three top five finishes to lead the Ohio Northern women's track and field team to a first place finish Saturday at the Muskie Duals hosted on the campus of Muskingum University.
The Polar Bears improve to 8-0 overall on the season.
Northern claimed first place in the meet with 209 points, followed by Ohio Welseyan in second with 164 points and Muskingum in third with 92.50 points.
Mosler teamed up with freshman Taylor Fisher, senior Kristine Wagner, and freshman Sydney McCluer to win the 4x400-meter relay in 4:18.49.
The senior also claimed a second place finish in the 100-meter dash in 13.27, as well as the 400 hurdles in 1:10.72.
Ohio Northern saw six individuals claim first place finishes in the meet.
Junior Allie Gast led the Polar Bears in the 200-meter dash as she finished first with a time of 26.89.
Also claiming first place finishes were senior Rebekah McCutchen in the 800-meter run in 2:27.35, senior Margaret Sorg in the 3,000 steeplechase in 12:06.21, sophomore Kelly Wollenslegel in the pole vault with a height of 9 feet 6.25 inches, junior Dianna Johnson-Ward in the triple jump with a leap of 34 feet 1.50 inches, and freshman Tia Harris in the shot put with a throw of 37 feet .25 inches.
Junior Meagan Ellinger also had an impressive day as she claimed fifth in the 100-meter dash in 13.45, fourth in the 200-meter dash in 27.74, and teamed up with freshman Avery Ewing, Gast, and sophomore Kristina Flak for a second place finish in the 4x400 meter relay in 4:18.74.
In the 200-meter dash senior Kristine Wagner claimed second in 27.28.
Senior Julie Amos also claimed a second place finish in the meet as she finished second in the high jump with a height of 4 feet 11.75 inches.
Harris finished second in the discus with a toss of 108 feet.
In the 400 hurdles, Fisher finished third with a time of 1:15.37.
Sophomore Danielle Sutter claimed third in the 2,000 steeplechase in 8:08.03, while junior Kelsey Commager finished third in the long jump with a leap of 17 feet. 75 inches, and senior Michaela Dramis finished third in the hammer with a pitch of 142 feet .03 inches.
Freshman Ashlie Baumann claimed fourth in the 5,000-meter in 19:21.26, followed by freshman Kristina Myers in fifth in 19:56.73.
Freshman Janelle Posthuma would finish fourth in the 2,000 steeplechase in 8:14.40.
Ewing would also claim a fourth place finish in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:29.50.
In the long jump, freshman Stephanie Walton would finish fourth with a leap of 16 feet 8.5 inches, while junior Rebecca Carman finished fifth with a distance of 16 feet 7.25 inches.
Dramis finished fourth in the discus with a throw of 99 feet, followed by sophomore Rachel Foust in fifth with a toss of 98 feet .4 inches.
The Polar Bears return to action next Saturday as they travel to Cedarville.
