Sophomore Dianna Johnson-Ward named OAC Women's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week

ADA — Sophomore Dianna Johnson-Ward has been named OAC Women's Outdoor Co-Field Athlete of the Week.

On Saturday, at the All-Ohio Championships, Johnson-Ward claimed a second place finish in the triple jump with a leap of 36-05.00, setting a new school record in the event.

The sophomore broke the previous record of 35-9.50 set by Brie Manz in 1998.

Ohio Northern finished fifth at the All-Ohio Championships scoring 58.33 points.

ONU will return to competition on Saturday, when they host the 2015 Outdoor Polar Bear Invitational.
