Women's Outdoor Track & Field finishes fourth at Kenyon Spring Invitational

GAMBIER -- The Ohio Northern outdoor women's track & field team recorded a fourth place finish at the Kenyon Spring Invitational on Saturday.
ONU (21-18) finished with 80.5 points in the 13-team field.
Ohio Wesleyan won the meet with 115 points, Oberlin was second with 107.5 points and Wooster was third with 88 points.
Sophomore Dianna Johnson-Ward captured the triple jump with a leap of 10.17 meters.
She also was second in the long jump, covering 4.89 meters.
The 4x100-meter relay tandem of junior Gabrielle Metzner, sophomore Brittany Lee, freshman Meagan Ellinger and freshman Allison Gast came in first in 50.25 seconds.
The Polar Bears had three of the top eight finishers in the 100-meter hurdles.
Metzner was second in 15.23 seconds, Gast was fifth in 15.69 seconds and freshman Rebecca Carman was sixth in 16.05 seconds.
Lee recorded a fifth place finish in the 200-meter dash, crossing the finish line in 26.45 seconds and sophomore Kristine Wagner finished fourth in the 400-meter hurdles in 1:08.56.
Wagner also notched a sixth place finish in the long jump, with a leap of 4.67 meters.
Freshman Kelsey Commager was fourth in the long jump and triple jump with leaps of 4.71 meters and 9.98 meters, respectively.
Sophomore Michaela Dramis was fourth in the hammer, with a throw of 42.41 meters and also fifth in the javelin with a throw of 27.05 meters.
Sophomore McKenna Earley was fifth in the discus with a throw of 33.07 meters.
In the 800-meter run, freshman Nicole Huber finished seventh in 2:29.10 and freshman Morgan Rouch was right behind in eighth in 2:29.52.
Sophomore Julie Amos finished in a tie for eighth in the high jump, clearing 1.42 meters.
Ohio Northern will return to action on April 25 and 26, when it takes part in the Ohio Athletic Conference Championships at Baldwin Wallace.
