Select members of Track & Field compete at Princeton's Sam Howell Invitational

PRINCETON (N.J.) -- Select members of the Ohio Northern men's and women's track & field team competed at the Sam Howell Invitational at Princeton University on Friday and Saturday.
The meet, which was unscored, featured numerous Division I participants.
Senior Josh Colbert led the Polar Bears, winning his heat and finishing second in the long jump with a leap of 7.14 meters (23-5.50).
He also finished 14th in the 100-meter dash, crossing the finish line in 11.17 seconds.
Senior Mark Berton finished ninth in the 3,000-meter steeplechase, crossing in 9:29.11 and junior Nate Rosenbaum was 18th in the 10,000-meter run in 31:47.48.
Junior Gabrielle Metzner finished 21st in the 100-meter hurdles in 15.60 seconds junior Catie Huber finished 29th in the 1,500-meter run in a personal record time of 4:46.69.
In the 400-meter dash, junior James Rader finished 30th in 51.05 seconds, sophomoreChristian Rupe was 35th in 51.42 seconds and junior Jonathan Roseler finished 39th in 51.78 seconds.
Senior Evan McKee completed the 800-meter run in 2:14.40.
Freshman Patrick Jeffries, McKee, Roseler and Rupe teamed up to finish 12th in the 4x400-meter relay in 3:23.93.
Ohio Northern will return to action on April 12, when it takes part in the All-Ohio Championships at Ohio Wesleyan.
