Alison Steinbrunner breaks own record as Women's Indoor Track & Field competes at Northwest Ohio Meet

FINDLAY -- Senior Alison Steinbrunner broke her own school record in the 3000 meter run, to lead the Ohio Northern women's indoor track & field team at the Northwest Ohio Meet hosted by the University of Findlay.
The meet was unscored.
Steinbrunner posted a time of 10:04.23, besting her previous record time of 10:16.45.
Senior Casey Adamcik finished third in the event in 10:53.93.
Freshman Kristine Wagner won the long jump with a leap of 16-08.75 and junior Emily Blum was victorious in the triple jump, posting a jump of 31-10.75.
The Polar Bears had three runners finish in the top five in the mile run.
Senior Lydia Weaver finished in first with a time of 5:16.25, while sophomore Shayla Siefker was third and junior Brooke Larsen was fourth, finishing in 5:27.39 and 5:28.96 respectively.
Senior Jordan Buchanan brought home a second place finish in the 60 meter dash in 8.17 seconds and Wagner was third, finishing in 8.54.
Senior Vicki Moga notched a third place finish in the high jump, posting a jump of 5-02.25, while sophomore Sara Ballmer was second in the pole vault at 8-11.75.
Sophomore Catie Huber was second in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:25.27.
Ohio Northern will be in action again on Friday when they compete at the OAC Split Meet hosted by Mount Union.
