Men's Track & Field tabbed to finish second, women fourth, at 2012 OAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships

ADA - The Ohio Northern men's track and field team was selected to finish second, while the women were tabbed to finish fourth in the Ohio Athletic Conference, as voted upon by the league's head coaches.
The men earned 76 points and five first-place votes, behind Mount Union's 84 points and the other five first-place votes.
Heidelberg was selected to finish third with 58 points, followed by Baldwin-Wallace (57 points) and Marietta (42 points).
The women received 60 points. The Purple Raiders again were tabbed to finish first with 81 points and nine first place votes, followed by Baldwin-Wallace with 69 points and one first place vote.
Marietta was predicted to finish third (64 points) and Capital rounds out the top five (46 points).
The Polar Bear men's team finished third with 123 points at the 2011 OAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships, while the women finished seventh with 68 points.
This year's outdoor championships take place Friday-Saturday, April 27-28, at Wilmington.
