Women's Track & Field participates in Adrian's (Mich.) All-American Invitational
ADRIAN, Mich. — The Ohio Northern women's track and field team competed in the All-American Invitational, an unscored event, at Adrian College (Mich.) on Saturday.
Sophomore Vicki Moga (Stow/Monroe Falls) had the highest mark for the Polar Bears, placing second in the high jump at 1.62 meters.
Third place finishes for ONU came from junior Ashley Sottoway (Findlay) in the 400-meter hurdles in 1:08.81, freshman Rachael Edeburn (Bridgeville, Pa./Chartiers Valley) in the triple jump at 9.06 meters, and junior Kelly Casanova (Copley) in the steeplechase in 12:00.33.
Sophomore Casey Adamick (Perrysburg) also placed in the steeplechase in 12:33.03, good enough for fourth, while sophomore Lydia Weaver (Chillicothe/Zane Trace) took fourth in the 5,000-meter run in 19:00.12. Freshman Hannah Livengood (Norwalk/Saint Paul) also placed fourth with a mark of 31.38 meters in the javelin throw.
Senior Courtney Zupancic (North Ridgeville) placed fifth in shot put at 11.03 meters.
Polar Bears will be competing again next Saturday, April 16, at the All-Ohio at Ohio Wesleyan starting at 11 a.m.
