Women's Track & Field finish 4th of eight teams at Rick Meindl Invitational
BEXLEY — The Ohio Northern women's track and field team took fourth of eight Division III teams, Saturday afternoon at the Rick Meindl Meet, hosted by Capital.
Sophomore Casey Adamick (Perrysburg) took third place in the 3,000-meter run in 11:26.40.
Also placing in the 3,000 run were junior Ashton Dennen (Bowling Green/Otsego) in fifth place at 11:44.36 and senior Tabitha Moody (Orwell/Grand Valley) in eighth place at 12:18.51.
In the 1,000-meter run, sophomore Brittany Stanek (North Canton/Hoover) took fourth place in 3:25.06, while junior Vyta Kavaliauskas (Parkman/Cardinal) took fifth place at 3:31.94.
The Polar Bears will look to defend their OAC indoor title from a season ago as they will be competing next week in the OAC Championships, hosted by Baldwin-Wallace.
The meet is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 25, and continue into Saturday, Feb. 26.
