Bio

Taryn Stromback is in her fourth season as an assistant coach for the women's tennis team.

Stromback returns to Northern as a coach after being a four-time letterwinner on the women's tennis team.

She currently ranks third all-time in school history with 83 doubles victories, fifth with 145 overall wins, and 10th in career singles victories with 62.

In her four years on the women's tennis team, Stromback helped lead the Polar Bears to two Ohio Athletic Conference Regular Season titles and two OAC Tournament titles during the 2012-13 and 2014-15 seasons.

She was also a four time All-OAC honoree and a three-time Academic All-OAC honoree.

Stromback was named a Clyde A. Lamb award winner in 2016 and was named to the NCAA Management Council in 2015, where she served a three-year term. She was one of two students on the council, which is the highest level of representation by a student-athlete in the NCAA.

She was the first student-athlete in Ohio Northern and OAC history to be named to the council.

The council is made up of 19 members in total, composed of athletic directors, senior women administrators, institutional CEO’s, and faculty athletic representatives.

Prior to being named to the NCAA Management Council, she served on the National Student Athletic Advisory Committee.

Stromback earned her bachelor's degree in pharmaceutical business from Ohio Northern in 2016.

Taryn currently resides in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where she is a Business Analyst for Deloitte Consulting, LLP.
