Jenna Bell named OAC Women's Tennis Player of the Week

ADA — Ohio Northern sophomore Jenna Bell (Latrobe, Pa.) was named the Ohio Athletic Conference Women's Tennis Player of the Week for the week of Mar. 11-17.
The recognition comes after going 2-0 on Tuesday against Washingon College (Md.) winning 8-5 at No. 2 doubles and 6-4, 6-2 at No. 1 single. She then went 3-1 on Wednesday winning 8-6 at No. 2 doubles and 6-3, 6-2 at No. 1 singles against Wisconsin-La Crosse and winning 6-3 at No. 2 doubles against Minnesota State-Moorhead. On Thursday against Sioux Falls (S.D.) she went 1-1 in singles and 2-0 in doubles.
Bell is tied for first on the team with 24 overall victories this year.
This is Bell's third time receiving the honor in her career.
The Polar Bears (11-4 overall) return to action on Saturday against Wittenberg (8-2 overall) at 11 a.m.
