Women's Tennis downs Skyline Conference champion Farmingdale State (N.Y.) 6-3

FARMINGDALE, N.Y. — The Ohio Northern women's tennis team wrapped up its trip to the East Coast with a 6-3 victory at Farmingdale State (N.Y.) on Sunday morning at the FSC Courts.
The Polar Bears finished 3-0 on its road trip after posting wins at Kean (N.J.) and Reutgers-Newark (N.J.) on Friday.
The Rams, who are the defending champions of the Skyline Conference, fall to 0-2.
Sophomore Ashley Ochsenhirt and freshman Ola Latala led ONU with victories at Nos. 3 and 4 singles and a win at No. 2 doubles.
Freshman Mackenzie Wills won at No. 5 singles and senior Brittany Toney won at No. 6 singles.
Wills and freshman Kaleigh Cummins also won at No. 3 doubles as Northern took two of the three doubles matches to gain an early lead.
The Polar Bears will return to action Friday-Sunday at the Oberlin Invitational.
