Seniors Meghan Letizia and Taryn Stromback lead Women's Tennis to sixth straight victory

BEREA -- Seniors Meghan Letizia and Taryn Stromback led the Ohio Northern women's tennis team to a 6-3 victory over Baldwin Wallace Wednesday afternoon at Collins Tennis Courts in Berea.
The Polar Bears improve to 15-2 overall and 4-1 in the Ohio Athletic Conference, while the Yellow Jackets fall to 11-9, 3-3.
In doubles play the Polar Bears jumped out to a 3-0 lead as Letizia and junior Brittany Toney won at No. 1 singles 8-3.
The team of Stromback and sophomore Kirsten Adamson won at No. 2 singles 8-6, while sophomore Morgan McGlothlin and senior Elise Smith won at No. 3 singles 8-4.
Stromback also won at No. 1 singles 6-4, 6-2, while Letizia won the tiebreaker set at No. 2 singles 10-2.
Adamson completed the victory for Northern at No. 6 singles as she won 6-3, 6-3.
Northern will return to action Saturday as they travel to Heidelberg to take on the Students Princes at 1 pm.
