MASON -- The Ohio Northern women's tennis team saw its season come to a close with a 5-2 loss to Otterbein in the OAC Tournament Championship on Saturday afternoon at the Lindner Family Tennis Center in Mason.
ONU, the second seed, ends its season at 17-5, while the top seeded Cardinals move to 18-4.
Otterbein also receives an automatic bid to the NCAA III Tournament.
The doubles tandem of junior Kristin Cellentani and sophomore Meghan Letizia got ONU on the board with a 8-5 win at No. 3 doubles.
In singles action, sophomore Rachael Miller won 6-2, 6-2 at No. 5 singles for the Polar Bears.
Letizia had split sets at No. 4 singles when the match was stopped.
This was the third straight appearance for Ohio Northern in the OAC Tournament championship.
