Women's Tennis posts 9-0 victory over Capital on Parents Day

ADA— The Ohio Northern women's tennis team concluded its regular season with a 9-0 Parents Day victory over Capital Saturday afternoon at University Courts.
ONU improves to 15-4 overall and 7-1 in the Ohio Athletic Conference, while CU falls to 1-11, 1-7.
Northern finishes second in the OAC regular season standings and will be the No. 2 seed in next week's OAC Tournament.
The Polar Bears will host seventh-seeded Marietta on Tuesday in the OAC Tournament Quarterfinals.
In singles play, sophomores Christina Corbean and Taryn Stromback won 6-0, 6-1 at the No. 1 and No. 3 positions, respectively.
Junior Kristin Cellentani and sophomore Rachael Miller each won 6-0, 6-0 at No. 2 and No. 5 singles.
Sophomore Meghan Letizia won 6-0, 6-1 at No. 4 singles while sophomore Brooke Taylor won at No. 6 singles 6-3, 6-1.
In doubles play, Corbean and Taylor won 8-0 at No. 3 singles.
The tandems of Miller and Stromback and Cellentani and Letizia won 8-1 at the No. 1 and No. 2 positions.
