Women's Tennis posts 9-0 shutout over Baldwin Wallace

BEREA -- The Ohio Northern women's tennis team defeated Baldwin Wallace by a 9-0 score on Wednesday afternoon at the Collins Courts.
ONU improves to 14-3 on the season and 6-1 in the OAC, while the Yellow Jackets fall to 7-12, 3-4.
In doubles action, the tandems of sophomore Christina Corbean and freshman Brittany Toney and junior Kristin Cellentani and sophomore Meghan Letizia won 8-2 at the No. 1 and No. 3 positions, respectively.
Sophomore Rachael Miller and sophomore Taryn Stromback recorded a 8-1 win at No. 2 doubles.
In singles action, Miller won 6-0, 6-0 at No. 5 singles and Letizia scored a 6-2, 6-0 win at No. 4 singles.
Corbean won 6-1, 6-0 at No. 1 singles, Stromback won 6-2, 6-2 at No. 2 singles and Cellentani posted a 6-0, 6-1 victory at No. 3 singles.
Toney closed out the sweep with a 7-6(6), 6-2 win at No. 6 singles.
Ohio Northern will return to action on Tuesday, when it hosts Division II foe Walsh at 3 pm.
