Women's Tennis falls to Otterbein 5-4

ADA -- The Ohio Northern women's tennis team dropped a tough 5-4 match to Otterbein on Tuesday afternoon at the University Courts.
The Polar Bears fall to 11-3 on the season and 3-1 in OAC play, while the Cardinals push their record to 13-2 and take over sole possession of first place in the OAC with a 4-0 mark.
Sophomore Rachael Miller and sophomore Taryn Stromback got ONU on the board, coming back from a 3-6 deficit to win 8-6 at No. 2 doubles.
Miller also won 6-3, 6-0 at No. 5 singles.
Junior Kristin Cellentani won 6-4, 6-2 at No. 3 singles and sophomore Meghan Letizia was victorious at No. 4 singles by a 6-3, 6-1 score.
The Cardinals won the clinching match at No. 2 singles 6-1, 4-6, 7-6(7).
Ohio Northern will return to action on Saturday, when it takes part in the OAC Tennis Fest at the Lindner Family Tennis Center in Mason. The Polar Bears will take on Muskingum at 11 am and Marietta at 6 pm.
