Miller, Stromback win twice to lead Women's Tennis past John Carroll

CLEVELAND -- Sophomore Rachael Miller and sophomore Taryn Stromback each won twice to lead the Ohio Northern women's tennis team to a 5-4 victory over John Carroll on Saturday afternoon.
The Polar Bears improve to 11-2 overall and remain perfect in OAC play at 3-0. The Blue Streaks fall to 5-8, 1-2.
The victory extends Northern's OAC regular season winning streak to 30 matches.
Miller and Stromback teamed up to score a 8-4 win at No. 2 doubles.
Stromback won at No. 3 singles 6-2, 6-2 and Miller was victorious at No. 5 singles 7-5, 6-1.
Junior Kristin Cellentani and sophomore Meghan Letizia improved their record to 11-0 on the season, with a 8-3 win at No. 3 doubles.
Sophomore Christina Corbean also won 7-5, 6-3 at No. 1 singles.
Ohio Northern will return to action on Tuesday, when it hosts Otterbein at 3:30 pm.
