Women's Tennis tops Ohio Wesleyan 9-0

ADA -- The Ohio Northern women's tennis team recorded its fourth sweep of the season, with a 9-0 win over Ohio Wesleyan on Tuesday evening at the University Courts.
ONU improves to 10-2 on the season, while the Battling Bishops drop to 4-9.
In doubles play, the tandems of sophomore Rachael Miller and sophomore Taryn Stromback and junior Kristin Cellentani and sophomore Meghan Letizia won 8-0 at No. 2 and No. 3 doubles, respectively.
Sophomore Christina Corbean and freshman Brittany Toney also won 8-4 at No. 1 doubles.
In singles action, Miller won 6-0, 6-0 at No. 5 singles and Cellentani won 6-0, 6-2 at No. 2 singles.
At No. 1 singles, Corbean won 6-4, 6-1.
Stromback was victorious at No. 3 singles by a 6-2, 6-0 score and and Letizia won 8-0 at No. 4 singles.
Toney completed the sweep with a 8-4 win at No. 6 singles.
Ohio Northern will return to action on Saturday, with a OAC road contest at John Carroll at 1 pm.
