Women's Tennis falls to Oberlin 6-3 in battle of regionally ranked foes

OBERLIN -- The Ohio Northern women's tennis team dropped a 6-3 decision to Oberlin in a battle of regionally ranked teams on Saturday afternoon at Heisman Field House.
The Polar Bears, ranked No. 15 in the Central Region, see their record drop to 6-2, while the Yeowomen, ranked No. 9 in the region, push their record to 4-3.
ONU go on the board when junior Kristin Cellentani and sophomore Meghan Letizia teamed for a 8-1 victory at No. 3 doubles.
Letizia is now a perfect 10-0 in doubles play this season.
Cellentani picked up her second win of the day with a 2-6, 7-5, 10-2 win at No. 3 singles.
Sophomore Rachael Miller also scored a victory at No. 5 singles by a 6-1, 6-2 score.
Ohio Northern will return to action on Wednesday, when it travels to take on Wittenberg at 3 pm.
