Women's Tennis tops St. Mary's (Ind.) 7-2

SOUTH BEND (Ind.) -- The Ohio Northern women's tennis team picked up a 7-2 road victory over St. Mary's (Ind.) on Friday evening.
The Polar Bears push their record to 2-1 on the season, while the Belles fall to 1-1.
ONU swept all three doubles courts.
Junior Kristin Cellentani and sophomore Meghan Letizia scored an 8-5 win at No. 3 doubles, while sophomore Rachael Miller and sophomore Taryn Stromback won 8-6 at No. 2 doubles.
Both Letizia and Stromback bump their doubles records to a perfect 6-0 on the season.
Sophomore Christina Corbean and freshman Brittany Toney erased a 7-4 deficit and to notch a come from behind 9-7 win at No. 1 singles.
In singles action, Miller won 6-2, 6-3 at No. 5 singles and Cellentani won 6-3, 6-2 at No. 4 singles.
Letizia won at No. 3 singles 6-4, 6-1 and Stromback recorded a 6-3, 7-5 win at No. 2 singles.
Ohio Northern will take a few weeks off and return to action on Mar. 2 against Bethel (Tenn.) at 8 am in Tampa, Fla.
