Women's Tennis tops Muskingum 5-0 in OAC Tournament Quarterfinals

ADA -- The Ohio Northern women's tennis team picked up a 5-0 victory over Muskingum in the OAC Tournament Quarterfinals on Wednesday afternoon at the University Courts.
The Polar Bears are now 24-4 on the season, while the Muskies end their season at 1-10.
Northern will now face No. 4-seed John Carroll in the OAC Tournament Semifinals on Friday afternoon at 4:30 pm at the Lindner Family Tennis Center in Mason.
ONU jumped out to a quick 3-0 after doubles play.
The tandem of junior Michelle Tuma and freshman Rachael Miller won 8-1 at No.1 doubles and freshman Meghan Letizia and junior Carly Olmstead won 8-0 at No. 3 doubles.
Sophomore Brittany Miller and freshman Taryn Stromback finished off the sweep with an 8-3 win at No. 2 doubles.
In singles play, both Letizia and Rachael Miller won 6-0, 6-0 at No. 3 and No. 4 singles, respectively.
