Women's Tennis moves to 2-0 in OAC play with 9-0 win over John Carroll

ADA -- The Ohio Northern women's tennis team picked up a 9-0 victory over John Carroll to remain perfect in OAC play, on Saturday afternoon at the University Courts.
The Polar Bears are now 13-3 and 2-0 in conference play, while the Blue Streaks fall to 2-7, 0-1.
In doubles play junior Michelle Tuma and freshman Rachael Miller scored a 9-7 win at No. 1 doubles.
The tandem of sophomores Kristin Cellentani and Brittany Miller and freshman Meghan Letizia and junior Carly Olmstead won 8-3 at No. 2 and No. 3 doubles respectively.
At No. 4 singles, Letizia won 6-0, 6-1 and freshman Christina Corbean won by a 6-0, 6-0 score at No. 2 singles.
Tuma and Brittany Miller won 6-1, 6-0 at No. 1 and No. 5 singles respectively.
No. 6 singles was won by freshman Taryn Stromback by a 6-1, 6-1 score.
Cellentani won 6-3, 6-1 at No. 3 singles.
Ohio Northern will return to action on April 2, when it travels to faceoff with Kenyon at 4 pm.
