By Tim Glon

ADA — The Ohio Northern women's tennis program, under the direction of 12th-year head coach Scott Wills, has announced a four-women incoming freshman class for 2012-13.

Christina Corbean (Dayton/Oakwood), Meghan Letizia (Dublin/Coffman), Rachael Miller (Columbus, Ind./North) and Taryn Stromback (Maple Grove, Minn.) have all committed to study at Ohio Northern and be a part of the ONU women's tennis program.

Corbean is a Ohio state tournament qualifier in 2011 and is a two-time All-Southwestern Buckeye League and two-time conference singles champion at Oakwood High School.

Letizia was team MVP for Coffman High School for three seasons and won the USTA Northern Section Sportsmanship Award.

Miller is a four-time All-State honoree, earning First Team All-State honors at Columbus North High School three times.

Strombeck was a four-time All-Northwest Suburban Conference honoree and three-time team MVP at Maple Grove High School and also won the USTA Northern Section Sportsmanship Award.

The Polar Bears finished 23-5, won the Ohio Athletic Conference Regular Season and Tournament titles and advanced to the NCAA III Tournament in 2011-12.
