Freshman Brittany Miller named OAC Player of the Week for Women's Tennis

ADA – Ohio Northern freshman Brittany Miller was named OAC Women's Tennis Player of the Week for the week of March 26-April 1.
Miller finished the week 3-0 in the No. 2 singles and 2-0 in the No. 2 doubles for an overall 5-0 record.
She helped lead the women's tennis team to a 6-3 victory over Kenyon on Tuesday and 9-0 victories over Wooster and conference rival Marietta on Saturday.
Miller and fellow freshman Kristin Cellentini won 8-2 at No. 2 doubles to tie the match 1-1 against regionally-ranked Kenyon, and followed up with a 6-0, 6-4 win at No. 2 singles against Kenyon's Amanda Polster.
On Saturday, Miller again teamed up with Cellentini teamed for an 8-3 at No. 2 doubles against Wooster, and went on again to win at No. 2 singles against Wooster's Kelsey Jenkins (6-2, 6-3) and Marietta's Cate Gisser (6-3, 6-0).
The Polar Bears will be back in action on Wednesday at 3 p.m. when they host Otterbein at University Courts.
