Women's Tennis drops non-conference decision to Kenyon

ADA -- The Ohio Northern women's tennis team fell to Kenyon 9-0 in a non-conference match Thursday afternoon at the ONU Sports Center.
The Polar Bears move to 3-7 overall, while the Ladies improve to an 9-5 overall.
No. 1 doubles team of Ashley Bonamer and Christie Gales battled Amy Schlessman and Amanda Polster in a close match, but came up short, falling 8-4.
Bonamer and Gales lead ONU in doubles victories with 10 wins each, and have a 6-2 overall record as teammates this season.
In singles play, No. 6 Jenny Provost played a tough match against Anna Becker before falling 6-3, 7-5.
ONU will be in action next against Shawnee State on Friday at 5:30 p.m. at Vienna, W.Va., and will play at Marietta in Ohio Athletic Conference action on Saturday.
