Freshman Marissa Taylor competes in 400 I.M. for Women's Swimming at Kenyon Fast Chance Meet

GAMBIER — Freshman Marissa Taylor (Granite Falls, N.C./South Caldwell) competed in the 400 I.M. on Saturday at the Kenyon Fast Chance Meet at the Steen Aquatic Center.

Taylor touched third in 4:43.85.

She entered the meet ranked 78th in the event with a season-best time of 4:38.70 set last week at the Ohio Athletic Conference Championships.

Taylor and her Polar Bear teammates must wait until Tuesday when the field for the 2018 NCAA III Championships, held March 21-24 in Indianapolis, are announced.
