Friday's Meet: The Polar Bears will take to the road for a dual meet at North Coast Athletic Conference foe Wittenberg on Friday evening ... The teams will compete in 14 swimming events and 1- and 3-meter diving ... The Ohio Northern women's swimming and diving team won 8-of-16 events in a tight 154-134 loss to John Carroll on Nov. 11 at the ONU Sports Center ... Sophomore Lauren Halle won the 200 fly (2:14.77) and the 400 I.M. (4:50.11) to lead ONU ... She also combined with junior Kierra Watson, senior Sydney Veon and freshman Marissa Taylor to win the 200 medley relay in 1:52.23 ... Veon, Watson and Taylor also won individual events for the Polar Bears ... Veon won the 100 breast in 1:07.46, Watson won the 100 back in 1:02.90 and Taylor won the 200 free 1:59.60 ... Sophomore Libby Sartschev and freshman Claire Kaiding won the two diving competitions ... Sartschev won the 3-mater diving with 157.70 points and Kaiding won the 1-meter diving with 166.40 points.

ONU head coach Peggy Ewald: Ewald is in her 14th season at ONU and is the program's all-time winningest coach with an 81-72 women's dual meet record, a winning percentage of .529. She has been named OAC Women's Coach of the Year five times and had guided the Polar Bear women to seven OAC Championships crowns and 10 OAC Regular Season titles.
