This Weekend's Meet: Ohio Northern will wrap up its 2015 calendar year of competition this weekend at the Wooster Invitational ... At least 8 men's teams and 10 women's team are expected to compete in the 3-day meet ... The swimming events will be held at Ellen Shapiro Natatorium at Wooster High School while diving is held on the Wooster campus at the Timken Natatorium ... The schedule will follow the same format used at the OAC Championships with 5 events slated for Thursday, eight on Friday and seven on Saturday ... Prelims for each event will be in the mornings with the final in the evening ... The Polar Bears are coming off a 145-90 loss at #2 Kenyon on Nov. 20 ... Senior Allison Lohnes and junior Jill Chapman each won events to lead the then-#48 Ohio Northern ... Lohnes and freshman Kierra Watson finished 1-2 in the 100 back as Lohnes won in 1:01.49 and Watson was second in 1:03.72 ... Chapman had a first and second place finish for ONU ... She won the 50 free in :24.43 and was second in the 100 free in :54.29 ... Four other Ohio Northern swimmers had second place finishes in the meet ... Sophomore Hailee Sautter was second in the 1000 free in 11:48.97, sophomore Sydney Veon was second in the 100 breast in 1:10.41, freshman Lauren Chaney was second in the 200 free in 2:03.25 and freshman Alyson Rohrer was second in the 100 fly in 1:06.27.

ONU head coach Peggy Ewald: Ewald is in her 12th season at ONU and is the program's all-time winningest coach with a 73-61 women's dual meet record, a winning percentage of .545. She has been named OAC Women's Coach of the Year five times and had guided the Polar Bear women to seven OAC Championships crowns and nine OAC Regular Season titles.
