Women's Swimming and Diving falls in Tri-Match to Oberlin and Wittenberg

ADA — The Ohio Northern women's swimming and diving team fell to Wittenberg 149.5-137.5, and Oberlin 182-107 in a tri-match this afternoon at the ONU Sports Center.
The Polar Bears fall to 2-6 overall and remain 2-1 in the Ohio Athletic Conference.
ONU claimed first place in seven of the 15 events.
Junior Allison Lohnes won four events to lead the Polar Bears.
She won the 100 back in 1:00.85, the 200 back in 2:12.51, the 200 IM in 2:17.13, and was part of Northern's winning 400 medley relay team.
Freshman Sydney Veon won the 100 breast in 1:08.53.
Sophomore Jill Chapman won two events for the Polar Bears.
Chapman won the 50 free in :24.42, and the 100 free in :54.37.
Northern opened the meet by winning the 400 medley relay, as junior Lindsey Inkrott, Veon, Lohnes, and sophomore Emily Uhrin won in 4:09.09.
The Polar Bears fell to Wittenberg in eight of the 15 events, and Oberlin in ten of the 15 events.
ONU is next in action December 4th-6th as they compete in the Wooster Invitational.
