Saturday's Meet: The Polar Bears will open up the OAC portion of their 2014-15 regular season on Saturday afternoon at John Carroll ... ONU has won nine consecutive OAC Regular Season championships and is riding a 7-match OAC regular season dual meet winning streak ... The teams will not be diving at the meet, as JCU's diving well is under repair ... Ohio Northern opened its 2014-15 season with a 6th place finish at the 8-team Kenyon Relays last Saturday ... Sophomore Jill Chapman led Ohio Northern, as she swam on ONU's best relay team in six of the nine events on the day ... She combined with freshman Sydney Veon, sophomore Molly Wheeler and freshman Jordan Adkins finished third in the 200 breast relay in 2:09.54 ... Junior Allison Lohnes, sophomore Kelsey Brebberman, freshman Kasey Mucher and junior Lindsey Inkrott finished fifth in the 200 back relay in 1:55.38 ... Lohnes, Wheeler, Chapman and Brebberman finished sixth in the 400 I.M. relay in 4:21.50 ... This is the season-opening meet for John Carroll, who finished 5-5 overall, was 2-3 in OAC regular season meets and finished third of seven teams at the OAC Championships meet ... The Blue Streaks expect to be led this season by senior Victoria Watson and junior Lindsey Fano.

ONU head coach Peggy Ewald: Ewald in her 11th season at ONU and the program's all-time winningest coach with a 68-52 women's dual meet record, a winning percentage of .567. She has been named OAC Women's Coach of the Year five times and had guided the Polar Bear women to seven OAC Championships crowns, including the last six in a row, and nine straight OAC Regular Season titles.
