Senior Lindsey Rayhill named Capital One Academic All-District 7 At-Large in Women's Swimming for 2013-14

ADA — Ohio Northern senior Lindsey Rayhill was named Capital One Academic All-District for 2013-14 in voting conducted by the College Sports Information Directors of America.
Rayhill, a pharmacy major, was selected to the At-Large team in District 7 as a member of ONU's swimming & diving team. The At-Large team consists of student/athletes from swimming, wrestling, golf and tennis, among several others.
She was named Ohio Athletic Conference Women's Swimmer of the Year this season, after winning seven titles at the 2014 OAC Championships.
Rayhill is the current school record holder in eight events and led the Polar Bears to four consecutive OAC titles in her four years.
She is a 20-time OAC champion and three-time Academic All-OAC honoree.
Rayhill will now be placed on the Academic All-America ballot.
Ohio Northern posted a 6-5 overall record, won the OAC Regular Season title for the seventh consecutive year and won its sixth straight OAC Championships crown in 2013-14 under 10th-year head coach Peggy Ewald.
