Manko, Munro win two events each to lead Women's Swimming & Diving in tri-meet at Hillsdale with Olivet

HILLSDALE, Mich. — The Ohio Northern women's swimming and diving team competed in a tri-meet at Division II Hillsdale (Mich.) with Olivet (Mich.) Friday night.
The Polar Bears (4-1) defeated Olivet (0-4) 161-66 and fell to NCAA Division II Hillsdale (5-0) 138-97. Hillsdale defeated Olivet 171-48 to complete the tri-meet scoring.
Three different swimmers and one diver each won an event to lead ONU.
Sophomore Cait Munro won the 100-yard fly in 1:01.42, sophomore Kasey Manko won the 100 breast in 1:10.34 and freshman Taylor McCabe won the 200 I.M. in 2:16.90.
Junior Amy Elmer won the 3-meter diving with 208.65 points.
Munro, Manko, senior Alison Garbash and sophomore Rachel Aufdenkampe combined to win the 200 medley relay in 1:53.40.
The Polar Bears will return to action next Friday at Wittenberg in a 6 pm dual meet.
