Everlove breaks US Paralympic record in the 50 Fly in Women's Swimming and Diving's win at Wilmington

WILMINGTON — Sophomore Amanda Everlove broke the US American Paralympic Record in the 50 SCM Fly during the women's swimming and diving squad's 171-91 win at Wilmington on Friday night.
Everlove, an S8 paralympic classified athlete, marked an official time of 33.76.
Northern moves to 2-0 overall and in the OAC. The Quakers now has an 0-2 record overall and in the league.
ONU earned 11 wins in 14 events, with junior MacKenzie Hoffman, sophomore Lindsay Rayhill and freshman Taylor McCabe each picking up two individual wins.
Hoffman finished on top in the 100 Free (1:03.42) and in the 200 Free (2:18.57), while Rayhill took the top spot in the 100 Fly (1:08.29), as well as the 800 Free (10:11.42).
McCabe took first in the 100 I.M. in 1:13.69 and picked up the victory in the 100 Breast in 1:18.54.
Freshman Rachael Aufdenkampe also picked up two wins, taking first in the 100 Back in 1:11.32. She was also a member of the 200 Free Relay team, along with senior Alison Garbash, and freshmen Danielle Wildman and Ashley Zoeller, that finished in 1:58.06.
Wildman picked up a win in the 50 free in 29:49, as did sophomore Kasey Manko in the 50 Breast in 36.05.
There is little rest for the Polar Bears as they are back in the pool again tomorrow, hosting Wooster at 1 p.m.
