Bio

Heather Scherrer enters her first season as an assistant women's soccer coach at Ohio Northern University.

She joins the Polar Bears after serving as the Assistant Director of Operations at C3 Soccer and coaching youth soccer with Soccer Shots.

Prior to her stint with C3 Soccer and Soccer Shots, Scherrer served as an Assistant Coach for the women's soccer program at Rockford (Ill.) University from 2009-2012, before being promoted to head coach of the team in 2012.

Following her graduation from Trinity International University, Scherrer served as a Camp Coach for the Chicago Eagles from 2001-2005 before serving as the head coach of girls varsity and boys freshmen soccer programs at Belvidere North High school from 2006-2008.

From 2009-2013, Scherrer served as a soccer coach for the Rockford Raptors club teams.

A 2004 graduate of Trinity International University, Scherrer earned her Bachelor's Degree in Sport's Medicine with a focus in Athletic Training.

Scherrer was a standout student-athlete on the Trojans women's soccer team as she was a 4-year member of the team.

During her senior campaign, Scherrer was named NAIA All-Region and was an NCCAA All-Region and All-America honoree.
