WESTERVILLE — The third-seeded Ohio Northern women's soccer team scored twice in the first half and went on to a 2-0 victory at second-seeded Otterbein on a crisp Thursday afternoon at Memorial Stadium in the Ohio Athletic Conference Tournament semifinals.

The Match
- Junior Julia Flanagan (Dublin/Watterson) got the Polar Bears on the board in the 26th minute when she scored from 12 yards out after a beautiful pass from the endline by senior Jill Roberts (Bellbrook/Carroll). Sophomore Haley Cannon (Oregon/Clay) also got an assist on the play as her throw-in got Roberts behind the Cardinal defense.
- Senior Alaina Casey (Beavercreek/Carroll) made it 2-0 with 6:17 left in the half off another assist from Cannon.
- Freshman Morgan Moeller (Harrison/Roger Bacon) played all 90 minutes in goal for ONU and recorded six saves for her seventh career shutout.
- Otterbein out-shot Ohio Northern 15-10 and had a 10-2 edge in corner kicks.
