Senior Kristy Catrine named OAC Women’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week

ADA — Ohio Northern senior Kristy Catrine (Springboro) was named the Ohio Athletic Conference Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week for the week of Oct. 25-31.
Catrine recorded a shutout in both games last week against Otterbein on Wednesday and against Mount Union Saturday.
She recorded four saves against Otterbein, improving her season save percentage to .826 and her GAA to 0.65.
Catrine is tied for sixth in school history with 19 career shutouts.
This marks Catrine's third OAC Player of the Week honor this season and sixth of her career.
The Polar Bears open the OAC Tournament as the No. 2 seed, receiving a first-round bye and hosting a semifinal matchup Thursday night at 7 p.m. at Kerscher Stadium.
