OBERLIN — Sophomore Jenna Fuller (Countryside, Ill./Lyons Township) scored in the 54th minute to lead the Ohio Northern women's soccer team in a 1-0 victory at Oberlin on Tuesday afternoon at Shults Field.
The Polar Bears improve to 4-2-0, while the Yeowomen fall to 3-4-0.
Fuller gathered a loose ball at the top of the box and blasted a left-footed shot past the OC keeper for the match's only score.
Northern was in control for most of the contest, finishing with a 22-2 advantage in shots and a 9-0 advantage in corner kicks.
Junior Meagan Grierson (Miamisburg) picked up her 24th career shutout with one save in goal.
The polar Bears will return home on Saturday for a 1 pm match against Thomas More (Ky.) at Kerscher Stadium.
