Friday's Preview: The No. 14-ranked Ohio Northern women's soccer team enters Friday afternoon's contest after claiming the Ohio Athletic Conference Regular Season Title outright on Tuesday evening with a 7-2 victory over Baldwin Wallace ... ONU will be the No. 1 seed throughout the OAC Tournament, which will be Oct. 30-Nov. 5 and has claimed the OAC Regular Season Title for the second consecutive season ... Northern also won its school-record 13th straight contest on Saturday ... Freshman Jenna Fuller led the way with two goals and two assists, while sophomore Rose Nienaber added a goal and an assist for the Polar Bears, and seniors Anna Niemeyer and Abbey Oswald and sophomores Hannah Martin and Haley Moses each scored a goal ... Fuller and Nienaber are currently tied with a team-best nine goals for ONU and rank fifth in the OAC in the category ... Niemeyer currently ranks third on the team with seven goals ... Fuller also leads the team and OAC with 10 assists and has a team-best 28 points ... She also ranks third in the OAC in the category ... Defensively, Northern is led by sophomore goalkeeper Meagan Grierson ... Grierson owns a 15-1-1 record in the goal and leads the OAC with a 0.47 goals against average ... Grierson ranks third in the OAC with only eight goals allowed this season and is fourth in the conference with a .814 save percentage ... Marietta enters the contest after dropping its last three contests ... Sophomore Sophia Moise, and freshmen Theresa LaGreca and Chloe Williams are each tied for first on the team with four goals each to lead Marietta offensively ... LaGreca's three assists also ranks first on the team, while her 11 points also ranks best on the team ... Freshman Katie Conkle leads the team in the goal with six victories and four shutouts this season ... Conkle also has a team-best 80 saves and ranks fourth in the OAC in the category.
