Women's Soccer lands five on the OCSA 2015 NCAA Div. III Women's All-Ohio Team

ADA — Ohio Northern women's soccer team landed five athletes on the OCSA 2015 NCAA Div. III Women's All-Ohio Team announced Thursday.
Senior Alex Weirich earned first team honors, while senior Emily Brodict, sophomore Hannah Reich, junior Michaela Gutierrez and junior Shelby Stephens all earned second team honors.
Weirich played in and started all 21 games at the midfield position for the Polar Bears last season.
She scored three goals, two of which were game winners, and recorded one assist.
Brodict also started all 21 games for Northern last season.
The goalkeeper recorded seven shutouts and finished the season 12-7-2 overall.
Reich led the defense this season, recording one goal.
The sophomore appeared in and started 18 games last season for ONU.
Gutierrez started all 21 games for Northern at the midfield position.
She recorded 17 shots and scored two goals during the 2015 season.
Stephens posted a strong junior season leading the team in 2015 in goals (10) and assists (11).
The forward started all 21 games and recorded a team-high 64 shots.
The Polar Bears finished the season 12-7-2 overall and finished second in the Ohio Athletic Conference under 12th year head coach Mark Batman.
