PITTSBURGH, Pa. -- The Ohio Northern women's soccer team played to a 0-0 draw in double overtime at No. 7-ranked Carnegie Mellon (Pa.) in the opening match of the Carnegie Mellon Invitational on Friday afternoon.
The Polar Bears move to 2-1-1 on the season, while the Tartans are now 2-0-1.
Senior Emily Brodict picked up four saves to lead the ONU effort.
The Polar Bears recorded six shots in the match and had two on goal, while CMU had nine shots in the match, four of which were on goal.
ONU will wrap up the tournament on Saturday with a match against Allegheny (Pa.) at 11 am.
