Kristina Klusek named Forward of the Year; Seven named All-Ohio Athletic Conference in Women's Soccer

ADA — Senior Kristina Klusek was named OAC Forward of the Year and seven were named All-OAC in women's soccer as voted by the league's ten head coaches.
Sophomore Michaela Gutierrez, sophomore Shelby Stephens and Klusek all earned First Team All-OAC honors.
Junior Alex Weirich and freshman Hannah Reich were named Second Team All-OAC, while junior Emily Brodict and freshman Anna Niemeyer were named Honorable Mention All-OAC.
Klusek is the fourth Polar Bear to win Forward of the Year honors.
This is her third straight First Team All-OAC selection and fourth All-OAC honor.
She led the team in assists this season with four and was third on the team in goals with four.
Gutierrez earns her first All-OAC accolade.
The defender started in 17 of the 19 games this season.
Stephens was second on the team in goals with five and she recorded two assists on the season.
The mid-fielder earns her first All-OAC honor.
Weirich earns her first All-OAC honor.
This season, she scored three goals and appeared in all 19 games at mid-field.
Reich also earns her first All-OAC accolade.
She started in all 19 games on defense this season.
Brodict earns her first All-OAC honor.
The goalie recorded 81 saves and had eight shutouts this season.
Niemeyer led the team in goals with nine and had two assists on the season.
This forward earns her first All-OAC selection.
Ohio Northern posted a 10-7-2 record and finished tied for second in the OAC with a 6-2-1 mark.
