Kyle Kwiat is in his 11th season as an assistant wrestling coach at Ohio Northern.

Kwiat is the most decorated wrestler in program history, being the only two-time NCAA Division III Champion and four-time All-American in school history. He also tops ONU’s all-time career wins list with a 158-16 overall record and ranks second in career winning percentage at .908.

During his athletic career, he led the nation in tech falls with 15 in 2012-13 and with 25 in 2013-14.

Kwiat received his bachelor’s degree in exercise physiology from Ohio Northern in 2013 and earned his master’s degree from Bluffton in 2016.

He is married to the former Alison Steinbruner (PharmD ’15) and they have two daughters, Tessa and Evelyn, and a son, James.
