Wrestling kicks off 2018-19 season at Mount Union Invitational on November 10

ADA – Under the direction of 31st-year head coach Ron Beaschler, the Ohio Northern wrestling program will open their 2018-19 regular season at the Mount Union Invitational on November 10 at 10 a.m.
The Polar Bears will then return to Ada, raising the curtain on a three-event home slate with a visit from OAC foe Otterbein on Tuesday, November 13. The opening month of action will conclude with trips to the Findlay Open on November 17 and Heidelberg on November 27.
Northern will host the 38th annual ONU Invitational on Saturday, December 1 with opening bouts beginning at 9 a.m.
A dual with Manchester (Ind.) is set for December 7 while an eastward excursion to the Washington & Lee (Va.) Duals concludes the pre-Christmas competition.
Ohio Northern will host their final home dual of the season when Muskingum drops by for a conference affair on January 15. ONU grapplers will also compete in the Bud Whitehall Duals, the OAC Quad Meet, and the Wheaton (Ill.) Invitational during the month.
Back-to-back trips to Baldwin-Wallace on February 2 and February 8 will conclude the regular season.
Individuals will then compete at the NCAA Division III Regionals from February 22-23, seeking to qualify and compete for a national title at the NCAA Division III Championships scheduled for March 8-9 in Roanoke, Virginia.
Last season, the Polar Bears would finish with a 9-10 overall record and a 3-3 mark in OAC competitions to finish fourth in the final standings.
