Tuesday's Match: The Polar Bears enter this weekend's Lycoming (Pa.) Duals ranked No. 20 in the latest NWCA Division III rankings ... ONU will compete in three dual meets in pool play on Friday, facing Springfield (Mass.), Oswego State (N.Y.) and #25 York (Pa.) in Group B action ... Northern will then compete twice on Saturday in the placing rounds ... The winners of each of the four pools will compete for places 1-4, the second place finishers will compete for places 5-8,the third place finishers will compete for places 9-12 and the fourth place finishers will competefor places 13-16 ... The Polar Bears are coming off a 23-12 victory over Mount Union on Tuesday at the ONU Sports Center in the OAC opener for both teams ... Freshman Seth Transue got a pin with 13 seconds left in his bout at 125 pounds to clinch the victory for Ohio Northern ... Sophomore Gavin Nelson, junior Seth Meyer, senior Kyler Deeter, junior Alex Bair and freshman Nate Barcaskey also posted wins for ONU ... Barcaskey (16-5, 285 pounds) and Bair (16-9, 184 pounds) lead the team in wins this season Barcaskey also has a team-high 12 pins ... Deeter is 15-5 at 174 pounds and Hickey is 14-8 at 197 ... ONU head coach Ron Beaschler recently surpassed the 300-win plateau as head coach at Ohio Northern ... In 27 seasons, Beaschler's teams are 302-201-4.

ONU head coach Ron Beaschler: Beaschler in his 27th season at ONU with a 302-210-4 record, a winning percentage of .588 ... He is the all-time winningest coach in ONU history and has the longest tenure as head wrestling coach at ONU ... He was inducted into the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) Hall of Fame in 2008 ... He was named OAC Coach of the Year in 1993, 2012 and 2013.
