Wrestling wins 8-team Waynesburg (Pa.) Invitational; Claims four individual titles

WAYNESBURG, Pa. -- Four Ohio Northern wrestlers won individual titles and the Polar Bears won the team crown at the Waynesburg (Pa.) Invitational on Saturday at the Rudy Marisa Fieldhouse.
ONU finished first out of eight teams with 188.5 points. Waynesburg (Pa.) was second with 180.5 points, Alderson Broaddus (W.Va.) was third with 103.5 points and Johns Hopkins (Md.) was fourth with 79 points.
The Polar Bears had wrestlers in the finals in seven of the 10 weight classes and got championships from freshman Evan Morgan (149 pounds), sophomore Gennar Feucht (157), junior Colt Lovejoy (165) and senior All-American Cody Lovejoy (Heavyweight).
Morgan and Colt Lovejoy won their weight classes with 2-0 records and are now 13-7 and 16-3, respectively on the season.
Cody Lovejoy, who is ranked No. 2 nationally, was 3-0 and now boasts a team-best 18-0 record with 13 pins.
Feucht went 4-0 and is now 16-1 on the campaign.
Three other Polar Bears has runner-up finishes.
Senior Cole Cochran was 1-1 at 133 pounds and is now 11-6 on the season, freshman Aaron Adkins was 2-1 at 184 pounds and is now 12-4 on the year and sophomore Dillon Brancheau was 2-1 at 197 pounds and improves to 12-5 on the season.
The Polar Bears will return to action Tuesday with a road dual match at Mount Saint Joseph.
