ANGOLA, Ind. — Sophomore Emma Hoersten (Hilliard/Davidson) scored a career-high six goals to lead the Ohio Northern women's lacrosse team to a 16-9 victory at Trine (Ind.) on a chilly Wednesday evening.

- Sophomore Elena Martin (Youngstown/Canfield) had four points on 2 goals and 2 assists.
- Senior Elizabeth Graham (Dayton/Carroll) had a three-goal hat trick.
- Sophomore Rylie Kocik (Cicero, N.Y./Cicero-North Syracuse) and freshman Kassidy Elzey (Miamisburg) added two goals and an assist each.
- The Polar Bears raced to a 6-0 lead in the first 7:30 of the contest as four different players found the net in the first half of the first quarter.
- Northern's lead was 8-3 after the first period and 13-5 at halftime as Hoersten notched four of her goals in the first 30 minutes.
