ADA — Sophomore Elizabeth Graham (Riverside/Carroll) and freshman Keaghan Burden (Brunswick) each scored twice to lead the Ohio Northern women's lacrosse team in a 23-6 loss at Capital on Saturday afternoon at Bernlohr Stadium.
The Polar Bears (7-8 overall, 3-4 Ohio Athletic Conference) will be either a No. 5 or No. 6 seed in the next Saturday's OAC Tournament Quarterfinals.
The Crusaders (16-0, 7-0) remained undefeated and clinched at least a share of the OAC Regular Season title with the win.
CU took control early, leading 7-1 8:04 into the contest. The hosts led 15-4 at halftime and 19-4 after three quarters.
Sophomores Chloe Millican (Fishers, Ind./Hamilton Southeastern) and Molly Dixson (Cannonsburg, Pa./Canon-McMillan) combined for 17 saves in goal for ONU.
Capital out-shot ONU 53-11.
The Polar Bears will return to action on Wednesday night in its regular season finale when they host Baldwin Wallace at 7 pm at Dial-Roberson Stadium.
That contest will have OAC Tournament implications, as the winner will be the No. 5 seed and the loser will be the No. 6 seed.
