FRANKLIN SPRINGS, Ala. — The Ohio Northern women's lacrosse team kicked off its inaugural season with a 12-2 loss at Emmanuel (Ga.) on Tuesday evening.
The Polar Bears fall to 0-1, while the Lions improve to 3-3.
Freshman Madeline Storr scored the first goal in program history, finding the net at the 14:43 mark of the first half.
Freshman Maggie Fuller also scored for ONU with 11:09 left in the match.
The Polar Bears will return to action on Thursday with a match at Oglethorpe (Ga.)
